Colour
The Cane Corso is found in four colours: Black, Beige, Blue and Brindle.
Grooming
The short hair on
the Cane Corso requires little maintenance, apart from a regular wash.
History
The Cane Corso
originated in Italy. The breed was originally developed to hunt large
game and to assist in warfare. Nowadays the Cane Corso is still used for
hunting, and also as a guard dog.
Positives
The Cane Corso is
an excellent family dog, and a very good guardian of the children in
it's family. It is also an excellent all-round guard dog.
Negatives
As the Cane Corso
was developed primarily as a guard dog, the potential level of
aggression/dominance inherent in the breed is not suitable for all
potential owners.
